Sivan is a licensed and ASHA certified trilingual Speech and Language Pathologist. Sivan, as a past K-12 teacher, has taught in special education and regular education classes. She also has a strong background in academic planning and consulting, as well as special education advocacy. Sivan utilizes all of this knowledge and experience in her every day therapy. Additionally, Sivan provides professional developments in various areas such as literacy skills, self-regulation, executive function skills, and classroom management.

Sivan is trained in and uses evidence-based intervention strategies such as Lively Letters (Reading with TLC) which is based on the principles of Orton-Gillingham instruction. Other areas of training and methods used include Visualizing and Verbalizing, Seeing Stars, Read Naturally, and S.P.I.R.E., EmPower, and Brain Frames, among others.
